The U.S. Departments of Education and Labor updated the eligibility requirements for Adult Education services to U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, refugees, asylees, and certain other eligible non-citizens.
The following documents are accepted as a form of government-issued identification. You may be asked to provide additional documents as part of your application to verify eligibility.

REAL ID-compliant Driver’s License or Identification Card
and
Social Security Card
Must not be Limited Term.

The Social Security Card must be unrestricted and cannot bear the following notations:
- NOT VALID FOR EMPLOYMENT
- VALID FOR WORK ONLY WITH INS AUTHORIZATION
- VALID FOR WORK ONLY WITH DHS AUTHORIZATION

- Refugee: “RE” or USCIS approval notice
