Adult Education Documents

Adult Education classes are provided free of charge because funding for the program is provided by the federal government through the U.S. Departments of Education and Labor and administered by the Texas Workforce Commission in the state of Texas.

In July 2025, the U.S. Departments of Education and Labor along with the Texas Workforce Commission updated the eligibility requirements to require that students enrolling in federally funded free programs must be U.S. citizens, permanent residents, refugees, or certain other legally admitted non-citizens with legal authorization to work in the United States.

The following documents are accepted as a form of government-issued identification. You may be asked to provide additional documents as part of your application to verify eligibility.
